The patent project or inventor recommended by the recommending unit shall meet the following conditions: The filing unit of Guangdong Patent Gold Award, Silver award and Excellence Award shall be registered in the administrative area of Shenzhen (including Shenzhen-Shantou Special Cooperation Zone), the patentee or the patent implementing unit with independent legal personality; The inventor shall be a Chinese patent inventor or designer permanently residing in the administrative area of Shenzhen (including Shenzhen-Shantou Special Cooperation Zone). Eligible units and individuals can fill in the declaration and upload the attachment in the "Guangdong Intellectual Property Business Management Sunshine Government Platform (Patent Award business)" according to the requirements of the "Notice", and the municipal market Supervision Bureau will conduct a preliminary review of the materials submitted by the units and individuals and recommend the best according to the number of declarations.

It is reported that the Guangdong provincial government will award 300,000 yuan, 200,000 yuan, 100,000 yuan and 100,000 yuan to the units and individuals who have won the Guangdong Patent Prize, Silver Award, Excellence Award and Outstanding Inventor Award.
